Returning from a long day of work can be a tremendous experience ---
coming home to a smiling spouse who is joyfully awaiting your arrival
with a hug and a kiss. The house is clean and the table is set for
dinner with a delicious aroma permeating the air. The children are
playing contentedly together and gleefully run to you throwing their
arms around your neck while shouting, "Yeah! You're home - I missed
you!"
Beautiful isn't it? I must admit, that not all of my arrivals
from work have been so elegant; in fact, most have not - - but some
have. I've concluded that these precious moments of arrivals and
farewells, as well the quality of our family time spent together,
are usually directly correlated with how well I treat my children
and my spouse. If I treat them with kindness, then kindness is
reciprocated to me, as well as to my entire family. In other
words, if one wants kindness to permeate his or her home, it's time
to go look in the mirror, do some heavy self analysis, and take
action within your home by starting your own "Kindness Campaign."
The best place to begin the Kindness Campaign is with the one you
love most - your spouse. Your spouse should be the central
person of your life. He or she should feel loved, comfortable,
confident and even charismatic in your presence. Kind acts to your
spouse, whether it be as simple as a love note, or as dramatic as a
quick get away, will not only help a marriage survive, but it will
help your marriage thrive in a world that seems set on tearing
marriages apart. Think of what kindness means to your spouse, and
take action on it today. The investment from your actions will
certainly help to increase the value of your marriage.
The Kindness Campaign should next be implemented with your
children. Our family emphasizes love and kindness in our home by
implementing "love tickets" into our weekly routine. We have a
vase in our living room labeled the "love jar." When we (or
another family member) "catch" one of our children doing a kind act
for someone else, then that person's name is written on a piece of
paper along with the act of kindness and placed in the jar.
Excitement is at a high point when each week three (or any other
specified number) entries are drawn from the love jar, because the
winners are rewarded with a spectacular prize such as a special
treat, extra time with mom or dad, or a specified number of
privilege tickets (see www.firstratefamily.com for explanation).
Although prizes are given in a spirit of cooperation and fun, the
benefits of showing kindness to each other run much deeper than
just a physical gift.
When kindness fills a home, it is as if anyone who enters that home
can feel the presence of love, respect, and happiness -- including
one who just came home from a hard day of work. Take the challenge!
Begin your own Kindness Campaign today, and perhaps you will find the
vision at the beginning of this article, becoming a reality for you
and your family!

Life...
As I walk through life,
I look at all I have done.
I had wandered aimlessly,
And wondered what I have become.
I have been through so much,
It is amazing I made it through.
The lessons I have learned
I am shocked I pulled through.
The times I wondered
What life was all about.
The trials experienced in life,
Can make all the good come out.
We try to make it day by day.
Remembering what we were taught.
Just remember some time to pray,
It is important,
We need it every day.
Life can be short.
Unexpected at that.
We try to take its punches,
Just hoping it won't break our back.
Remember who you are,
Who you want to become.
Everything will fall into place,
When the time comes.
Don't forget I love you's,
Every chance you get.
The time maybe short,
There is no time to regret.
Life can be exciting,
As we all have found out.
Eventful, even busy
There is no time to be left out.
Remember who you are,
And Who you want to become.
The time can be short
Don't leave things undone.
Remember your Family
They are the only ones you've got.
To carry you in times of need
They can not be bought.
Remember they love you,
Either here or there.
They will always be with you.
Help for things to bear...

Don't Quit...
We all know...A man who travels alone ..travels the fastest..My daughter teaches me how to travel together....
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit...
Success is failure turned inside out.
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems to far,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit.
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit!
Go ahead...You can do it...

Enjoy Your Little Ones when ther's still Time!!
:
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait for tomorrow,
For babies grow up, I've learned, to my sorrow.
so quiet down, cobwebs. Dust, go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep.

-Meredith Gray, from The Beauty of Motherhood--
Here is a beautiful poem on Motherhood!
------------------------------ ---------------------------
I'd rather be a mother than anyone on earth
Bringing up a child or two of unpretentious birth...
I'd rather tuck a little child all safe and sound in bed
than twine a chain of diamonds about my [carefree] head.
I'd rather wash a smudgy face with round, bright, baby eyes
Than paint the pageantry of fame or walk among the wise.
-
------------------------------ ---------------------------
We have the greatest job on earth!

Motherhood...
Dear Baby,
I still remember the Day when you were scolded for being unruly and dirty when you unconciously scribbled some childlike messages and drawings on the living room Wall...Daddy and Ammi gave you a good piece of their minds...My heart just melted when i looked into your bewildered questioning eyes...
This One goes for you...
Some houses try to hide the fact
that children shelter there;
Ours boasts it quite openly...
the signs are everywhere.
For smears are on the windows,
little smudges on the door;
I should apologize I guess
for the toys strewn on the floor,
But I sat down with the children
we played, laughed and read,
And it the door bell doesn't shine,
their eyes will shine instead.
For when I'm forced to choose
the one job or the other
It's good to be a housewife
but I'd rather be a mother!

Turning hatred into strength By Dr. Lee.
After leaving the arm force, Allen only managed to work as a dispatch boy in a printing firm.
One day, this young man wanted to take 50 big books to the 7th floor of a university faculty. But when he carried a bundle of the books into the lift, a guard came by and told him, "This lift is only for the professors and lecturers. You must walk on the staircase!"
Allen explained to the guard, "I am not a student here. I want to carry these books to the 7th floor. The university ordered these books!"
However, the guard insisted, "No! As long as you're not a professor or lecturer, you're not allowed to take this lift!" They argued for a while. Finally, Allen knew he must go up and down the staircase for more than ten times. It would be really tired!
I quit!
Later, Allen explained to his boss what happened and quit his job.
Later, Allen explained to his boss what happened and quit his job.
What would you do if you're Allen? Will you hate the security guard forever for hurting your ego? Will you swear never to work in the university again?
Well, Allen chose a different thinking. He swore he would study hard to enter university to become a doctor!
Six months before his examination, he studied for 14 hours everyday. Finally his result enabled him to enroll in a university medical faculty.
Dream comes true
And today, more than twenty years later, Allen is already a successful doctor with his own clinic. When he recalls back his success, he knows it was the security guard who motivated him in the first place!
And today, more than twenty years later, Allen is already a successful doctor with his own clinic. When he recalls back his success, he knows it was the security guard who motivated him in the first place!
He doesn't hate the guard. Instead, he has to thank the guard for giving him the energy to change and pursue his dream.
So whenever you're cursed or scolded badly by someone, don't hate them. Instead, turn your hatred into a positive energy to drive you upward to become a better person. Prove to them that they are wrong!
At the end, you'll realize you have to thank them for motivating you so strongly.
